Streetlight Manifesto Proudy Boycotts Itself
Hello all
For the sake of keeping things emotion-free and legal, we’ll cut straight to the chase and forgo the insults and accusations:
It is and has been for quite some time our position that Victory Records is an artist-hostile, morally corrupt and generally dishonest company, with whom we have had the displeasure of being associated due to a contract that was signed years ago. We’re not...

So glad someone recorded this song and put it up...
Nate: I guess I'll never know where all the boys of summer will go-
Andrew: But I'll miss what we made-
Nate: All the days were not wasted-
-silence-
Nate: I forgot the words...
-upon getting help from us and the band and naturally lots of laughter-
Nate: ...Apparently there are some things I will never know - like the words.

tarynsnotokay asked: i bought my ticket today, and i got a seat number as well. maybe we'll get more information as it comes closer when it comes to seating?
thunderintheclouds asked: I saw your post about the Fun. concert and thought I'd share. I went to a concert at the Mesa Arts Center about 2 years ago and they made us sit in the seats our ticket said. There really are no bad seats but you are confined to where your ticket says.

Has anyone seen Fun. at a venue where there is...
They’re playing at the Ikeda Theatre at the Mesa Arts Center and I realized there’s definitely seating, there. So I went to buy a pre-sale ticket and they gave me a seat number, but I didn’t seem to have the option to choose which seat. Do you know if they just let you in and you just..pick? I haven’t bought it yet, because I’m a tad weary of this whole ordeal. Haha,...

fun.
I am often left questioning who loves the other more: the fans or the band.

Good God tonight was amazing.
This is going to be a big spiel about fun. and the antics we went through to make this acoustic performance and signing happen, so if you’d like to read, feel free.
I found out this morning before I left for school that you needed a button in order to get a guaranteed spot (even though the guy the other day told me just a receipt would suffice). So I had already bought the album from the...
Tomorrow
I will go to school and try to sit through my classes. Which are thankfully only an hour long.
I will leave (with Matthew!) before 4th hour. Roughly at 12-something.
We will go wait in (what is hopefully not a long line) for fun.
I will (hopefully) get to meet Nate, Jack, and Andrew at the signing
I will also (hopefully) get to give Nate a letter on how much his lyrics (from both...

Whenever I listen to the album version of Carry On...
This is probably a sign I’ve listened to the acoustic version far too many times.
The beginnings of the American Revolution,...
BRITISH EMPIRE: All right, fine, your stupid embargo worked. We won’t levy any more taxes-
AMERICAN COLONIES: Huzzah! Time to get drunk!
BRITISH EMPIRE: Except on tea.
AMERICAN COLONIES: What?
BRITISH EMPIRE: Get over it, it’s just tea. Seriously, where do you get this idea that you’re special and should never have to pay taxes? We hope that idea doesn’t go on to infect your political discourse centuries from now.
AMERICAN COLONIES: We’re not buying your stupid tea.
BRITISH EMPIRE: Are you being serious right now? What are you going to do, just stop drinking tea?
AMERICAN COLONIES: Yes. We’ll drink coffee.
BRITISH EMPIRE: Do you even know what that is?
AMERICAN COLONIES: No, but we’ve heard it’s good and we’re feeling surly.
BRITISH EMPIRE: Fine, whatever, we don’t even care what you do anymore.
BRITISH EAST INDIA COMPANY: Actually, we are pretty much bankrupt, so you need to make them drink the tea.
BRITISH EMPIRE: Oh, for—just drink the tea.
AMERICAN COLONIES: No.
BRITISH EMPIRE: Do it.
AMERICAN COLONIES: NO.
BRITISH EMPIRE: Drink it.
AMERICAN COLONIES: Fuck you.
BRITISH EMPIRE: Drink it or we’ll punch you in the face.
AMERICAN COLONIES: *Boston Tea Party*
BRITISH EMPIRE: What the hell?
AMERICAN COLONIES: We heard it was Indians.
BRITISH EMPIRE: That’s interesting, because we heard it was a bunch of colonists wearing paint and dressed in costumes that were remarkably similar to what a crowd of drunks who wanted to look like Indians would assemble if the only supplies they had were found in an alley behind a bar.
AMERICAN COLONIES: You get all types in Boston.
BRITISH EMPIRE: …*Coercive Acts*
AMERICAN COLONIES: Oh, it is ON.

My AP Government class has 11 people in it.
5/7 girls think the teacher is attractive. 1/4 boys also think that he’s attractive. That is 6 people. Out of 11. The conversations we have outside of that classroom oh my g o d.

The last thing I remember is looking at my table and realizing I left my soda in the kitchen, and being really annoyed. I just looked at it again and it’s sitting there. I have no recollection of getting up and bringing it over here.

So I think I've developed Asthma.
And I wouldn’t think this unless my best friend’s mother, who’s a nurse at Phoenix Children’s, didn’t suggest it, and that I go see a doctor. Because this has been my life for like, the past 8 months. Early warning signs include:
Frequent cough, especially at night
Losing your breath easily or shortness of breath
Feeling very tired or weak when exercising
Wheezing...
